Art and Music

Music is a language and a mode of communication. It is also an exercise of the mind, spirit, and body; a mantra. Discipline, practice, and sometimes hard work are required to develop the knowledge, skills, and muscle memory to be able to play an instrument without hesitation and struggle. Then, the music becomes fluid, much as paint on a canvas. The mechanics and theoretical relationships between written or constructed music are the canvas. Your imagination is the paint.
