Minds Eye by PopaRob expresses the relationship between the thinking mind, the heart, and spiritual consciousness. "Minds Eye" is painted on plywood with acrylic paints.

Engine Of Life is painted on thin plywood with acrylic paints. It is a representation of relationships between the source of Life, which is typically described as God, and the process of Soul enlightenment. The source of Life is at the top and is violet, which corresponds with the spirit chakra. Naam, Holy Spirit, or God Power, whatever you concieve it as, eminates from the source. Naam is God in action, which creates, sustains and reconciles Life. At the bottom in red is the wasteland of illusion and beyond in black is the vast darkness of ignorance. The red area, which corresponds to sexual chakra is where Naam places Souls within animal bodies on the Earth. Souls in the flesh are tempted by the senses and most Souls are deceived by the illusion, thinking that they are only bodies and not realizing that they are actually eternal Souls. Souls continue to reincarnate life after life within the physical plane of existence until they become enlightened enough to shed the illusions of the physical senses. Only humans have the capacity to realize the Truth, which turns their attention towards the source of Life. Naam, which is yellow attracts us towards greater realization of Truth through heart (compassion), which is represented by the green chakra, through intellect (reasoning), which is represented by the cyan chakra, through psychic (intuitive), which is represented by the blue chakra, and eventually to full realization of the Truth, which is one with God or the source of Life.

Music
is a language and a mode of communication. It is also an exercise of the mind,
spirit, and body; a mantra. Discipline, practice, and sometimes hard work are
required to develop the knowledge, skills, and muscle memory to be able to play
an instrument without hesitation and struggle. Then, the music becomes fluid,
much as paint on a canvas. The mechanics and theoretical relationships between
written or constructed music are the canvas. Your imagination is the paint. |
